Lake and meadow, forest and field are transformed by these illuminated light works, which make use of ordinary objects to extraordinary effect. Visit eight site-specific installations set throughout the east end of the Gardens and in the Conservatory, where Munro has installed a special exhibit, On Light. Created in the spirit of our founder Pierre S. du Pont, who hosted nighttime garden parties filled with fireworks and illuminated fountains, Light is a tribute to the artful combination of nature and culture that is Longwood Gardens.
